Ferula Gummosa is one of the useful medicinal plants belonging to the Apiaceae family. It is a large Umbellifer plant that grows wild mainly in Iran. Among several species, the only natural source of “soft Galbanum” is the Persian endemic Ferula gummosa (or galbaniflua) of Iran.
