Korond derives its name from one of the pristine and authentic mountains, which served as one of the ancient birthplace of Galbanum with its enduring and distinctive aroma. Korond group identified this mountain during their exploration of various regions and the characteristics and aroma of natural Galbanums in 2008, subsequently naming their group after this mountain.

This international group comprises experts and university graduates who are deeply committed to environmental conservation and the preservation of natural resources. Drawing from over half a century of ancestral knowledge and a decade of research, Korond focuses on preserving the original species of rare plants to ensure a sustainable supply of high-quality, natural, and authentic products by emphasizing sustainable development.

In 2019, the group shifted its focus to lovely Galbanum, as a sole product, due to the market's acceptance and the demand for maintaining and enhancing the quality of their services. They take pride in exclusively working with Galbanum to provide their customers with its authentic fragrance.
